DREAM LIGHT
Dream light, shine for me
Dream light, do not distort
Dream light, are you real?
Must I follow?
Guide me to the far, far, land.
LET ME NOT LOSE IT
Let me gain wisdom--
And I don't want to lose it
Let me stand strong, tall and wise
Let me not be a broken arrow,
A broken sword, a broken dagger,
Let me not wallow in despair
Let me not lose it.
The strongest part of my heart
The strongest part of my will
Let me not be a weakened soul,
Left to whimper--
To shed deep tears down yonder stream
Let me not fall, and lay down and weep
Let me gain wisdom Let me not lose it.
Let me over come obstacles
Let me rise up to see the dawn of a new day
Let me not sleep, let me shine among the great
And let me be wise always
Let me not lose it.
Glory Vision
I envision a paradise, surrounded by forest
Green trees overlook the mountains,
Light sparkles in the dark.
I prayed, Is it possible Lord?
Is this a vision? I asked.
My weak, frail body lay still,
From the hunger in the pit of my stomach,
The pain runs deep, my legs were weak,
Too weak to stand, and sit
Weakness over came me, surrounded me,
Took charge of me.
I called upon the Lord, for strength,
And reached out my hand for my bible,
And opened it to, Psalms 18: 1-24.
I read, I prayed, I cried out
"O Lord, help me. Lord!
Take me from the bottom less pit.
Raise me up. Give me strength, dear Lord.
You were there. You gave me a vision.
You rescued me. My glory vision, came true.
Thank you Lord."
Love
Love is an abundant...
Rightful and powerful feeling.
Of happiness and fulfillment.
Love that is kind, and very strong.
Love that is meek, and very weak.
How does one separate the two?
Answers can be found,
Deep in the heart,
Answers that words alone
cannot explain.
PRETTY BUTTERFLY
You have colors found in the rainbow.
Red, green, yellow, blue, orange, violet
Brilliant patterns throughout your wings
That have shades of angelic colors.
Who once had legs to crawl
Turning into a cocoon,
Finally sprouting wings to fly.
Spread those wings and fly.
Pretty butterfly, keep your shades
Mother nature has made you that way.
Go and meet your fellow winged creatures
Many of whom are of different shades.
Pretty butterfly, fly high above the flowers
Now you can see that you have grown wings,
So shall you fly.
Pretty butterfly soar above the earth
Until you have found your rightful path.
WHO CARES LORD?
Who cares Lord, when one is distressed?
Who will take the distress away?
You, who said that you will be there to guide,
And see one through,
Do you care?
Who cares if ones heart is broken down?
I hear your voice from afar,
You, Lord, is who cares.
Who else will care, but you Lord?
Lord, you said that you care.
You care because you love.
One cares because one loves.
The greatest love is one from above.
The greatest love,
That which comes from the heart and soul.
That's what you give Lord.
love that is graceful, kind, and true.
A love that's spiritual and strong.
Majestically and faithfully your love shines.
You Lord, is who cares.
